5. Killing Richie removes a vital element from an ensemble that was really starting to come into its own.
4. Richie's death was contrived--there was no reason for Duncan not to say "Joe's here with me!" when he was on the phone with Richie.
3. Poor Joe was really upset.
2. We need more Duncan angst like we need a hole in the head.
