Van Robinson Mayhall IVMy nephew and godson was born on Dec. 21, 2005. As a proud aunt and godmother, my duties include taking bad pictures and committing website. Click on any of the smaller photos below to see the full-size version. And enjoy!NEW PICS! Check out Halloween pictures of Baby Van, actually taken in late September. What a precious pumpkin!
Here's an adorable photo of Van IV looking so much like a little man, at the age of 8 months. In the same group below are also some photos from his first trip to the beach and a few other adorable pics from the past few months (summer through fall 2006).
Van IV is getting so big and grownup. On the left below is a picture from his first picnic, on the parade grounds at LSU in April 2006. On the right is his "official" four-month-old portrait. What a handsome boy!! My darling nephew was baptized on Sunday, Feb. 19. He was, of course, a perfect angel, and we had a wonderful day. I took a number of photos, but I haven't had time to scan and size all of them, so I only have a couple to share at the moment. My dad and stepmom invited both families to a really nice reception afterward, where I snapped the photo on the left, of my brother with his boy. On the right is another precious photo of the "Four Vans" together. On the left below is a photo from Christmas -- belatedly posted. On the right, a photo from late January '06. The next images were taken on Jan. 31, 2006, at the Target photo studio on Siegen Lane. In case anyone doubted that Van IV is the cutest baby ever, this photo of him in his duck robe offers solid scientific proof (left). Right: A slightly fussy boy on Jan. 14 ... just over three weeks old. The next set of images are from the day Van IV was born. Left: one of his first portraits. Middle: being held by his great aunt, Margaret. Right: Four generations of Vans — baby, Dad, great grandfather, and grandfather.
First two photos: Baby Van in his mom's arms. Next: Nanny Ro (that's me!) holding the baby.
